Dr Tony - Male
Dr Tony worked firstly as a trainee surgeon, before becoming a GP/Family practitioner in the UK. His medical career spanned 27 years, 24 of these as a GP. He holds degrees from 2 Universities in the UK as well as membership of The Royal College of General Practitioners. He retired from practice in 2005 to concentrate on his research into nutrition and obesity concurrently expanding his knowledge of how nutrition impacts with health and disease.
He worked in conjunction with experts in computer assisted learning during his long clinical career, and was awarded an NHS sabbatical for one year to allow study of software supportive of clinical decision making, workforce planning and personal health records.
He worked as an advisor to a leading UK based “think tank”, which was tasked by the UK Department of Health, to look at the training of doctors, access and delivery of healthcare in the UK.

Dr Jo - Female
Dr Jo qualified in the UK in early 90's and trained in Acute Medicine before specialising in Medicine for Older People with a latter emphasis on Rehabilitation. She has many years experience of practice in both Acute and Community hospital settings and in the wide variety of Community facilities that exist for Care of Older People and Rehabilitation of All Ages.
The emphasis of Dr Jo's practice is on maintaining, or returning to, the maximum Quality of Life that an individual can reasonably attain. To this end the focus is not purely on clinical medicine, but rather to maintain or regain independence and health with a common-sense approach to nutrition, preventative medicine and daily activities.
Throughout her career Dr Jo has worked with, and lead teams of, clinicians, nurses, dieticians and therapists in a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare for the individual.
